“Ms. Heel is more than a magazine, it’s a lifestyle!”

Velicia Hill

Founded by former runway model and a 2020 Emmy Winner Velicia Hill, Ms. Heel was born from her natural love of high heel shoes.

โ€‹In 2016, Velicia opened Ms. Heel Boutique in a suburb outside Atlanta, Georgia.  Her glam decor choices and impeccable eye for detail and creative visual merchandising, caught the attention of a major mall executive.  Merely 6 months later, Velicia moved operations to the mall and provided that same glam atmosphere to the masses.  While there, Velicia designed her first heel: Showgirl boot.  And as they say, the rest is history.  So after a year when one mall door closed (In 2018, Velicia closed her beloved mall boutique)–a shoebox opened; thus began her career as a shoe designer.  Showgirl boot was so popular, that she sold over 2500 pairs within 90 days! But after several production problems in China, Velicia took a break from shoe designing, wondering what to do next.

She used that setback as a way to fail forward.

Never someone to rest for too long, she decided to pen a blog about her adversities; but after getting rejected by Huffington Post & other publications, that one blog inspired her to create her own magazine. Thereby combining her love of heels with the written word. Within the pages of Ms. Heel mag, you’ll find fashion spreads with women of all ages, sharp-tongued advice, inspiring & thought-provoking articles, relatable fashion, sexy editorials and shoes, shoes, and shoes!

Thanks for strutting by!
