Capitol Heel Brief #8: Three Elephants Agree To Help A Donkey Sit On The Supreme Court

3 elephants will help a donkey onto the supreme court
3 republicans help KBJ get on the Supreme Court

Joining Senator Susan Collins, Senators Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski will offer their support for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Their endorsement is the antithesis to the fiercely partisan confirmation process thus far. Jackson is expected to win the backing of all 48 Democrats and 2 Independents, which would give her a majority of support in the 100 member chamber.

The three Republicans backing Judge Brown voiced their consternation over ‘the (other) elephants in the room’ and their raucous contribution to the ugly partisanship of this current Supreme Court confirmation process.

Untied we stand?

[UPDATED]: Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed seen here with POTUS

FINAL Talley: 53 to 47!
