Sometimes I get asked if designers get upset that we post deals on their heels. My response? I recite the famous line of, imitation is the biggest form of flattery…AND a FCUK OFF to the copycat of their work! Listen, I know how it feels to have your hard work knocked off-oooh, the stories I could tell. But, I realized that in the end, it helps my original product. Plus, it’s a sign that what you created is so good, others want to have it as well. At least that’s what I tell myself after I get over being pissed. Anyhoo, here we are today with the beautiful heel by the very talented, Amina Muaddi and her collab with Rihanna’s Grammy-nominated baby daddy, A$AP Rocky. Their original is completely sold out; but leave it to Cape Robbin to give us a damn good deal with their “Nanabee” re-interpretation.
